This is our limited edition Taupe Silk Twine - It is SO beautiful and complex! The perfect neutral.
Our Silk Twine are perfectly imperfect, and are ‘rustic’, naturally dyed ribbon strips - perfect for small finishing details. One of Silk & Bramble’s key philosophies is to minimise wastage - rather than bin these delicate end ribbons, we prefer to sell these at a reduced rate to take what some might waste and make these a great little product, perfect for Boutonniere’s, Button Holes, Corsages, Fine Art Wedding Invitations & Stationery details, gift wrapping, wedding favours, cake ties, flower crown ties, hair pieces, and even for use on wreaths and Christmas decorations!
They typically come unpressed. They have a crinkled/unpressed effect giving them a lovely, natural, effortless feel. [Please check widths/lengths as each silk twine size varies].
You can press these if the width of the twine is thick enough, or if you would like more of a crinkled effect, sometimes you can wet and gently scrunch up your twine and leave it casually laid out on a table to give it a more textured appearance.
Our Silk Twine comes delicately wrapped around a little branded Handmade Paper Card with a beautiful deckled edge.
Note : Bias Cut Ribbon - which this silk twine is, has joins/seams every now and again as this is the nature of the bias cut.

We use a fixative to secure our dyes on the fabric - however, please note that due to the handmade nature of the process and the natural/botanical dyes used, we cannot guarantee colours won’t run or fade. As with any hand made item, use with care and caution, store safely away and from sunlight and avoid getting wet.
